Technology is a blessing, and that is just a fact. It can make our lives easier, better or simply far more interesting. Whenever we get our paycheck, we love spending it on the latest tech. But we always want the best and if not the best then certainly the gadgets that are the best value for money. Here are some of the things we think you should consider buying this year.
Trackr Stickr
Have you ever had a panic attack because you have lost your phone or your keys? Deep down, you know they are not lost but simply misplace yet that still does not stop you having worrying scenarios where a criminal finds your keys on a park bench. Well, technology has finally come up with the solution to this problem and it will cost less than you would imagine. For under thirty dollars, you can buy a penny sized device that sticks to any item you are worried about losing. You can then use an app to make the device beep or alert you when you are leaving it behind. That means even if you have accidently left your mobile on silent you will still be able to find it.
Smart Home
Remember those sci-fi movies where the home adjusted to match a person’s every desire? Well, we are finally at that point because now you can buy a remote that can control your entire house. An example is the Logitech Home Control System, and it will even allow you to use your smartphone to change things in your home. This can be anything from switching on the TV to dimming the lights. Perhaps we are not yet at the point where with a flick of a button windows will change to show the weather you want outside, but we are getting closer.
Livescribe
This gadget has been around for a while now, but it just keeps getting better with bigger improvements. Now the new Livescribe 3 can connect to your smartphone or tablet, recording audio and well as anything you write down. This is perfect for students who are taking notes in lectures. But it can also be used by anyone who wants to jot down some information through the day, storing it accurately and easily. Personally, we love the Livescribe because sometimes you want to do writing in your spare time without having to drag your laptop out the bag and put it on the desk. With Livescribe, all you need is a pen and paper, and you are good to go. You can convert your writing to digital files later.
Airwheel Airboard
If you have been following the latest technology news, you may have heard that we are almost at the point where you will be able to buy your very own hoverboard. But, unfortunately, the earliest release date will be 2016, and even then you will only be able to use it on special surfaces. Luckily, there is an option you can use while you wait for them to perfect hoverboard tech. The Airwheel Airboard is a small transportation device with two wheels, and all you have to do is lean in the direction you want it to go. With a top speed of seven mph, this will certainly make nipping down to the shops a lot more fun.
Some of these gadgets are for the kid inside you while others are incredibly useful, but we are certain that all of them are worth your money. Why not spend your next paycheck on something you want.
