Stealth Pavillion by Paul Segers – “Heterophobia” Camp
The Stealth Pavillion by Paul Segers is design based on the concept of heterophobia, which describes spaces of “otherness” that are neither here nor there, check out our link above for more info about heterophobia.
To express this complexity, the exterior of the design takes inspiration from the radar-reflective form of the F-117 Stealth fighter. The simple, warm wooden interior with fire-pit contrasts this to create a feeling of isolation despite the pavilion being open-aired.
