Firefox OS Developer Preview Phone
Mozilla has announced the official Firefox OS developer preview phone, the device should become available in February, at a yet unannounced price. The Firefox OS phone, is a device that will be used by developers worldwide to test software for the new platform.
The phone, developed by Geeksphone (in partnership with Telefonica), is a mid-range smartphone by today’s standards – It comes with a microSD memory card slot, Wi-Fi N, MicroUSB slot, plus a variety of sensors, including light, proximity and g-sensor. Finally, the device supports 2G, 3G HSPA and comes with a 1580 mAh battery.

The device powered by a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 CPU, has a 3.5” HVGA multi-touch screen, a 3-megapixel camera, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of ROM memory.
