Audojo iPad Case Overview
Do you know that with good controller or joystick you can turn your iPad into ultimate gaming machine. We’ll know that business person or regular user don’t care much about gaming as long iPad can help their business. But for games addict, surely they will miss their joysticks and buttons that gives better control over the games. Just like other user, Gamers love the possibilities that a touchscreen offers – swipes, multi-touch gestures, contextual buttons and more. But for them, “touchscreen controls” still aren’t as good as a solid controller. Audojo, a new gaming case for the iPad hopes to fix that problem by adding extra gaming features into their iPad case design.
The Audojo iPad Case is, essentially, a tablet-sized plastic shell. As you can see in the image below, it clamps around the sides of your iPad bezel in landscape orientation. The case leaves the iPad’s screen uncovered, but provides users with a pair of front-facing analogue sticks, which sit near the upper corners of the display. In addition, you’ll have two physical trigger buttons that are sorely missed when gaming on an iPad, especially with first-person shooter games.
So how many games will support the Audojo? According to the Kickstarter page, “Any game that uses on screen joysticks, directional pads, or buttons will benefit.” The Audojo team is seeking 240,000 on Kickstarter to start manufacturing. Early-birds can get the Audojo for $55. Regular retail price will be $99. Finally, depending on how well the Audojo does, the creators will consider a version for the iPad mini.
